Shopping Day

Leather Galore!

Today we had a little play time and headed for some shopping at the mall at  Pacific Place! It was just a few blocks away from our hotel and boy was this mall huge! It is Hong Kong's best when it comes to shopping, attracting discerning shoppers with its wide array of international and creative luxury brands and two reputed department stores, such as Lane Crawford! My all time favorite store Marc by Marc Jacobs had a variety of Holiday dresses and festive jewelry. I can never walk out of that store empty handed. Here are a few items I purchased in Hong Kong:

Mineral Grey

Cream

Midnight Teal Multi
&
Merlot  Multi

Black

We ended our day at the The STEAK HOUSE Winebar + Grill  ! You’ll be spoilt for choice at this steakhouse which not only prepares a variety of fine grilled steaks, but also has a wide selection of condiments for you to choose from. Before the steaks are served, the server presents you with twelve special blended mustards and eight exotic rock salts. You can hand-pick your favorite according to your choice of steak. For those who like to play around with knives, there is also a collection of ten knives for you to choose from. A steak dinner cannot go without a perfect glass of wine, so pick one from its wine bar, which features over 450 international fine wines.

Flight to Hong Kong

Saturday December 3rd I flew thirteen hours from Los Angeles, California (LAX) to Seoul, South Korea (ICN). We then had a two and a half hour layover and then flew another five hours to Hong Kong (HKIA). Even though I spent almost an entire day traveling across the world, I sure was pampered! As soon as I boarded the double-decker plane, the flight attendants served us Mimosas while the rest of the passengers boarded. They then gave us a pre-fixed menu for lunch and dinner:

LUNCH:

Spirit Hood

"There is a transformation that takes place when you wear a SpiritHood.

This experience is un-definable, and completely unique to you . . .

Join the Tribe, Share your experience." -Spirit Hood

Today I received my very brand new "Forest Fox" Spirit Hood!! I'm so excited to wear this around for the Holidays! People with the Forest Fox spirit are intimately connected with nature and are often experienced life guides. They have powerfully focused minds capable of manifesting whatever they desire. The fox is cunning, attentive and a master of disguise.

Behind the Scenes: J Brand Ready-to-Wear

J Brand is set to debut its very own high-end Ready-to-Wear line for Spring 2012! I have been lucky enough to be a part of an amazing team and work with one of the most talented designers, Donald Oliver. The 140-piece collection will include office-to-evening separates priced from $200 to $1,500 and will hang alongside the likes of Isabel Marant and Rag & Bone. The palate plays safe with lilac, black and grey in luxe fabrics such as silk chiffon and lambskin.
The newly appointed design director Donald Oliver (who has former lives at Vera Wang and Calvin Klein) told
Fashionologie:
“We paid a lot of attention to details, making the garment feel special to the wearer,” Oliver said, adding of the intended customer: “We wanted her to be easygoing, uncomplicated, subtly sophisticated. We wanted her to feel relevant, not trendy, not like she’s trying too hard, which is why I think the garments have an ease about them.”
I am so proud of my team and extremely grateful for everyone I work with!
